FireAde 2000 fully conforms
to the NFPA 18 test for Class A and B fires
PRACTICAL
TESTING
This
simple practical test demonstrates how FireAde
2000 improves the penetrative and wetting qualities
of water; thus enabling it to "work harder" for any given quantity.
10cc of water
was dropped from a fixed position onto paper pulp board. The surface
tension of the board / water interface formed a pool of water
approximately 2" (50mm) square.
3% of FireAde
2000 was also mixed with water and 10cc of this mixture
was also dropped from the same fixed height onto a similar piece
of paper pulp board. Surface tension was much lower and the mixture,
instead of pooling, penetrated the board and wetted an area of
approximately 24" (607mm) square.
